1. Introductions, apologies and substitutions
1.1 Apologies were received from Dafydd Elis-Thomas. There was no substitution.
2. Inquiry into coastal protection - Evidence from the Minister for Environment & Sustainable Development
2.1 The Minister for Environment and Sustainable Development responded to questions from members of the Committee.
2.2 The Minister agreed to provide the following additional information as requested by members of the Committee:
· A table showing separated figures for funding allocations for flood and coastal erosion risk management from the Departmental budget, core central government budget and European programmes.
· Information on joint working with the Department of Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science on the Green Sea Partnership in relation to coastal protection and tourism.
3. Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Bill - Water Legislative Consent Motion
3.1 The Environment and Sustainability Committee agreed to report to the Assembly that it has no objection to the use of this legislative consent motion, as proposed by the Welsh Government.
4. Papers to note
4.1 Inquiry into coastal protection - Paper from the Minister for Business, Enterprise, Technology and Science
4.1 The paper was noted.
5. Motion under Standing Order 17.42(vi) to resolve to exclude the public from the meeting for item 6
